Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Step Down Unit experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

Top Diagnosis/Procedures: surgical of all types, medicals of all types, neuro patients at times.

Vasoactive Drip Titration Required - neosynephrine, amiodarone, cardizem, among a few others

Required/Preferred Skills:

-Line Management Skills:

Required: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, Vascular Device Access/Care, Dialysis Fistula Care/Management, A-Line Management

Preferred: CVP

-Cardiac Skills:

Preferred: Obtain 12 Lead EKG, Sheath Removal, Cardioversion/Defibrillation

-Airway: CPAP/BiPAP, Trach Care Required

-Ortho/MS/Onc: Epidural/PCA pumps, Feeding Tubes, Wound Vac Required
