Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

Weekend – This contract is for weekends Friday/Saturday/Sunday as well as some holidays.

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs

Special Skills/Experience required: Use of AIDET.

All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy.

Scheduling requirements: Work every weekend Friday/Saturday/Sunday, as well as some holidays.

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first).

Interpretation of dysrhythmias.

Management of dysrhythmias.

Knowledge of cardiac medications.

Knowledge of IV Drip management, such insulin, heparin, and other cardiac drips.

Patient Experience Required: Effective communication with patients, de-escalation techniques.
