Special Requirements: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi experience required. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response
Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG.
Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs.
Required Medication Skills/Experience: Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration.
Required Neurological Case Skills/Experience: CVA, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain Injury.
Required Orthopedic Skills/Experience: Manage/apply splints.
Required Pediatric Case Skills/Experience: Abdominal pain, Asthma, Head injury, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Poison ingestion, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Skin Disorders.
Required Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: Acute Psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Suicidal patient.
Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tube insertion/management, Intubation. Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Triage.
