24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Floating Requirements: Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU

Beds: 18

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Open heart, complex thoracic and vascular patients recover on the unit. Patients are stabilized and supported by impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO. Common and advanced cardiac surgeries, lytic cases, carotids and TCARS, Fempop, EVARs/Endo AAAs Unit also supports complex cases coming from cath lab, structural heart program and EP lab, ER, and clinic"

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have 1 year of experience with this patient population

Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics
