24 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Cerner OR EPIC experience.

Patient Types: CVA, Subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), Subdural hemorrhage (SDH), intraparenchymal hemorrhage (IPH), seizures

Skills required: Trach care/maintenance, art line, vent/ETT, EVD, ICP monitoring (can teach)

Floating: Any like unit/patient location (MS-MS, MS-ICU task, MS-ER/MS holds; ICU-ICU, ICU-MS task or limit of 3, ICU-ER/ICU holds)

Orientation: Travelers who are new to the facility or return travelers who have been gone for 1+ years will have 24 hours of classroom time and 24 hours on the unit. Rehires: orientation will depend on last date here

Weekend rotation: Every other weekend, may work back to back weekends (rare)

Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy

Holiday Expectations: This does not mean they will automatically be scheduled for those dates, but we will not contractually guarantee to being off prior to arrival.

Baptist 2024 RTO dates needing approval: Halloween: 10/30-11/3, Thanksgiving: 11/26-30, Christmas and New Year’s: 12/21-1/1
