Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Shift: 4x12 Nights (3x12 is available as well) (1845-0715)

First-timers accepted: Yes

Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend. If requested time off falls on weekend traveler would be scheduled per rotation, traveler will be schedule

Is on-call REQ? No.

Open to accommodating block schedule? No.

RTO Restrictions: Manager will review and decide on RTO based on unit's schedule. Only able to request 1 winter holiday off.

Special Requirements: PICC line management and experience with Starting IVs is required. Cerner experience preferred. **Must be willing to take trach and laryngectomy patients - experience not required but must be willing to learn and take these patients.

Must be willing to take up to 1:7 ratio if needed (not common but that is the max if needed)

Scrub Color: Any solid color.

Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

SSN required at time of submittal

DOB required at time of submittal

RTO – we can auto-approve 5 days of non holiday RTO or less. Anything more requires facility approval. Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Background Policy to be noted prior to submission so we can seek approval prior to offer

Any PERM or PRN employee of Memorial must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler
