Requirements
Experience
24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Cerner is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Hawaii license

ACLS (Required)
PALS (Required)
Vaccinations

Shift: Nights/Rotating

ICU/CCU RN to coordinate, provide care and meet the individualized age appropriate needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the ICU/CCU. The ICU/CCU provides services for surgical patients or patients with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions requiring the specialized services of the ICU/CCU. 4 bed / 4 rooms

Patient Ratio 1:2 depending on acuity….if 2 patients and one on the vent, a second nurse will be called in.

After hour PACU recovery

Emergency room experience recommended.

Hospital orientation through HR and in-service…then Unit orientation with nurse manager 1-2 day shift then 1-2 night shifts with staff RN. orientation/competency binder to be completed.

Float to OB, MS, PACU and ER to assist according to the individuals competency level

Please note: this assignment will work 80 hours every 2 weeks; no exceptions
