Requirements
Experience
36 months of role experience is required.
18 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience is required.
Experience with Meditech is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:
Guaranteed Hour: 40
Scheduling:
- Typical schedule - Monday-Friday
- Weekend rotation: minimum – approximately every 3rd weekend
- Holiday Expectations: done in rotation
- RTO Approval: Manager approval
- Schedule cycle: 4 weeks
Call required - Rotating:
- 2 days a week overnight – 1500 to 0700
- Every 3rd weekend – Friday 1500 to Monday 0700
- What is the call back period? 30 minutes
- Is there a sleep room available? TBD
Floating:
- Will float between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Willis Knighton Bossier
- Will also be backup for WKMC North – this facility will perform more complicated cases at this facility such as TAVR, mitral valve
Beds: will depend on facility
Patient Types:
- Coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex total occlusions, diagnostic Cath procedures, valvular disease, renal disease, carotid stenosis, limb salvage, peripheral stenosis, thrombosis disease, TAVR, Mitraclips, etc.
- RN has 3 different fxns in these labs – circulating, monitoring or scrubbing – someone that could do multiple functions is needed
Skills required:
- Must be able to scrub/monitor as well as circulate – please include in offer what cases they are comfortable scrubbing
- Circulating, scrubbing and/or hemodynamic monitoring. This would be for cardiac & peripheral vascular. We do complex interventional procedures.
- Must have seen most of what is on the list, please add in offer any case type the traveler has not done
- Other skills required - Vasoactive drug administration, sedation administration, critical patient assessment skills, sterile technique, air management, Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, Pnumbra, Laser and lithotripsy atherectomy
RN: at least 1.5 year in Cath Lab within the last year
