Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Wound / Ostomy Care experience is required from last 4 years.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Shift: Mon-Fri

Float to St Clare, St Elizabeth, St Frances, St Anthony, and St Anne as needed

Patients/Day Treated Minimum 5- 15 depends on the day/ new consults

Common diagnoses/Types of wounds "Ostomies and/or draining wounds or fistulas about 25% pressure, vascular, arterial and diabetic ulcerations as well as skin conditions resulting from incontinence, surgical procedures and/or trauma, skin/tissue integrity, altered continence, wound vacs

Common duties Manages and coordinates patient care/wound management in consults and recommendations, accordance with established standards, defined timelines and overall plan of care, documentation and billing, discharge for supplies, identification, assessment, prevention and continuing education, interdisciplinary collaboration, do provide a phone for photo documentation

Scrub Color/Dress Code No color preference

Orientation to all hospitals, with a preceptor and documentation education.
