Additional Details:
Certs can be MLT or MLS and AMT or ASCP.
Schedule: M-F, 1hr meal
On call requirements: Most likely there will be no weekend coverage, but holiday coverage is required. Call is required 1800-0700, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights and is rotated.
Certification: or equivalent required
Must be Generalist and able to cover:
- • Chemistry, Hematology, Blood bank, Microbiology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Routine testing, Quality control, Maintenance of instruments
- • Blood Bank Gel – required
- • Phlebotomy - required
- • Experience with Microbiology setups preferred but not required
- • Experience with Orchard LIS preferred but not required
- • Experience obtaining arterial punctures preferred but not required
