Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

Travel experience is preferred.

24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

Experience with Cerner is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Guaranteed Hours 36

Schedules made out about 6 weeks in advance

Weekend Requirement: every other

Holidays: no holiday requirement at this time but they may be required to work

Holiday RTO will be considered, however it cannot be guaranteed

Floating: any of the tele or MedSurg units - first to float

Beds: 30 beds

Ratios: 1 to 1-2, 90% of the time will be 1 to 2 ratio

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: trauma - travelers must have this experience, neuro-strokes, head injuries, ventriculostomies, ICP monitoring - candidates MUST have experience with ICP monitoring and ventrics if they do not have this experience then they MUST have experience with post-TPA pts

MUST have experience with ICP monitoring and ventrics

Telemetry, L/D, Emergency and Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one. This is a PASS/FAIL test
