Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required.

Travel experience is required.

36 months of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role

Float Requirement: PICU/ED/MS

On-Call Requirement: None

Weekend Requirement

RTO Blackout Date (12/22- 1/04/2025)

Required to work 1 Observed Holiday (Christmas or New Year's)

Holidays: Any holidays as needed for scheduling

Required: Pediatric Experience

Required Education: AAS in Cardiopulmonary

RRT travel experience required

Min 3 years of pediatric experience

NICU experience is required, level III or IV, 2 years min.

Must also have ED experience (can include float/cross cover)

Preferred: NPS Respiratory Therapist

Patient population by age/ illness: Micro-preemies; chronic illnesses; PICU - trauma

Goal to keep perm staff in NICU/PICU. Travelers to cover Medsurg Unit and ER.

Willing to float and work where needed

Former pediatric facility experience

No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment
