Weekend Requirements: Every third
Holiday Requirements: As Needed
Floating Requirements: Will float to NICU to care for feeder-grower neonates and MS/PEDS (will consider with no MS/Peds exp) - First to float
Postpartum beds: 12 post partum, 8 surgical
Nurse Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 couplets, 1:3-4 surgical/medical
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: postpartum vaginal and c-section deliveries, hysterctomy, bladder repairs, mastectomies,
Experience or 'Must have' skills: do expect them to jump right in
Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Procardia, labetolol, pitocin, TXA, cytotec, methergine, hemabate, cervidil, rare Insulin (travelers not expected to have this experience)
Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
