Travel Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.

Block Schedules: No

Shift: 4 x 12 Nights 4 x 12 1900-0730 work week Sun-Sat variable

On Call/Weekend Requirement: no on call requirement, weekend rotation included in schedule

Floating requirement: per competency within Pre& Post Op Departments

2 years of experience: Telemetry and Vents, PACU experience

Scrubs: All colors and patterns acceptable (no insignia from other institutions); 2 sets of periwinkle OR scrubs will be made available but are optional; takes at least 2 weeks to obtain OR scrub machine access

RTO Specification: only 3 days approved per 13 week contract and 7 days approved between primary and extension contract if extending.

Travelers are required to work a full work week between/around RTO

Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
