Requirements

Experience

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Michigan license

ACLS (Required)

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Every Other Weekend

No Call.

Patient Types: General Surgical and Orthopedic Surgical patients

Travelers for this position must be okay floating between 2 MyMichigan hospitals in Midland and Saginaw (32 miles apart.)

The location being applied for will be the main assigned site but may be asked to float to the other hospital for critical staffing support.

The intention from MyMichigan is that they will not float at all.

Required:

Oncology experience

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Facility will not approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer.
