Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Holidays: 2 out of 3 majors

Unit: ER (approx. 270-320 visits per day, busy days they day 350); non-trauma center

Beds: 62 beds + hallways beds/chairs

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Have a pediatric zone where 0-12 year old's go if lower acuity; nurses will work all areas; all diagnosis from minors to critical care, CVA, STEMI, sepsis, cath lab in house including hybrid suite; STEMI receiving center (JC and EMS); primary stroke center; very robust Sepsis program; high volume of critical acuity patients; high volume of ICU admissions from the ER
