Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.
RTO and shift requests will not be accepted after submittal.
Contract length: 26 weeks is preferred but not required.
Patient Types: Medical, Surgical, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, Interventional patients
ICP monitoring, External Ventricular drain (EVD), spinal precautions, DKA, Multi system trauma patients, Sepsis, ARDS, COVID, PNA, COPD, Stroke
Patient ratios: May get 3rd patient as one is being discharged or moved to the floor
Required: Neuro and Trauma experience are an absolute must – EVD & ICP monitoring
Ventilator management, critical care drips, drain management, stroke experience, hemodynamic lines (A-lines/CVP), cardiac rhythm recognition, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, strong assessment skills
Floating: To the Cardiac Care Unit (ICU) – will take patients within scope / Cardiac Stepdown or Medical Stepdown / PICU if they have Peds experience
Weekend rotation: Every other (Dayshift: Sat/Sun; Nightshift: Fri/Sat)
On call: No
Holiday Expectations: Varies, based on need – all holiday requests should be sent to manager for approval
Approval of time off? To go through manager
Scrub Color: Any solid color, must be professional
