Experience

48 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.
License
Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Every other weekend

Weekend Hours: alternating, (6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule)

Will be expected to cover most holidays. No holidays off first contract

Float Requirements: will float to other inpatient units as appropriate for skill level. Will float before core staff

Patient Population: adult

Must Have Skills/Experience: experienced in step down level patients, understands charting and interventions as it relates to high reliability care, will support team efforts to continuous improvement

Preferred Skillset/Experience: can identify early signs of a change in patient condition

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: sepsis, severe chronic pulmonary issues, complex diagnoses

Required Education: Minimum ADN

Scrub Color: currently your choice, wear gum drops if your heart desires!

Any unacceptable attire: wear clothing that fits. Preferably no sweatshirts
