Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

All previous perm employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.

Must be open to floating to other campuses

Patient Volume/Load: 5 ventilators 6-8 RVU's

Patient Age Group: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents (PREFERRED); Adults, Geriatrics (REQUIRED)

Work Setting Experience: ER, PICU (REQUIRED); Adult ICU, NICU (REQUIRED)

Respiratory Care Experience: High frequency oscillator, high risk deliveries (PREFERRED); Airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, 02 Therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, bronchoscopes, nebulizer, BIPAP, CPAP, EKGs (REQUIRED)

Ventilators: Draeger, Servo I (REQUIRED)

Scrubs: Any

BLS ACLS PALS Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.

NRP must be AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).
