Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.
Weekends Every Other.
Holidays Every.
Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week.
Provide care to predominately respiratory patients requiring treatment for pneumonia, shortness of breath, COPD, or other various lung diseases. In addition, this unit will further provide care to a variety of medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke and surgical patients.
Patients in this area benefit from daily rounds with the entire interdisciplinary team. Additionally, this unit houses an 8-bed respiratory step-down unit with a 1:4 nursing ratio.
Education - Required Associated degree in nursing.
Experience - Required:
However, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of experience in the field of specialty.
Scrub Colors/Dress Code: Solid Navy.
Guaranteed Hours (24/36/40): 36.
