Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

Travel experience is preferred.

24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Duration: 8 weeks with potential to renew

Weekend Requirements: Every other

Holiday Requirements: Must be available for 2 out of 3 major winter holidays and 2 out of 3 summer holidays.

Floating Required To Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Progressive Care (Stepdown)/NSD. Travelers could float to 1-2 units in a 12 hr. shift. Travelers float first.

Nurse Patient Ratio by shift: 1:2 Have criteria for 1:1

Medical Surgical ICU : Sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, pulmonary edema, post op thoracic/vascular surgery. Little to no Neuro or Trauma comes to this unit

Dress Code: Scrubs/color: Any color.
