Experience
24 months of role experience is required.
24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Region III: Primary to St. Michael Medical Center but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Three: St Anthony Hospital – Gig Harbor, WA; St. Michael Medical Center – Silverdale, WA.

Floating Requirements: Yes, most often floating between 4th, 5th or 6th floors (critical care) or to the ER for patient holds.

Shifts & Scheduling: 6 weeks at a time. Self scheduling, balanced then reviewed by the manager. First schedule they would be filling holes.

Weekend Requirement: May be working a lot of Sundays. Weekends are a high need right now.

Holiday Requirement: Rotate with permanent staff.

Is there a call or standby requirement? No

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any professional color scrubs.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Sepsis, COPD, Covid, pneumonia, CRRT, IABP, impella, PA catheters. Arctic sun for post cardiac arrest patients. Recovery of immediate open heart patients. Overflow from cath lab. Post surgical needing longer recovery. - Post interventional caths.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Minimum of 2 years experience in ICU. Specialty skills preferred such as management of Swans, Prismaflex CRRT, IABP, Immediate open heart recovery.
