Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required from last 4 years.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license

Guaranteed Hours 48

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults, Cardiac med/surg, dialysis, cancer diagnosis, vascular, sepsis, adult respiratory, stroke, post stent, post pacer placement, renal failure.

Weekend Requirements: Every third

Holiday Requirements: Rotating with perm staff

Floating Requirements: Yes, to MedSurg or to ICU to take PCU acuity patients

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

Will not approve blocked scheduling or same schedule/shifts, must be flexible and willing to float and work when needed.

RNs required to titrate drips. RNs must read and interpret.

How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 1 week
