All staff may be required to work during a hurricane with all necessary safety precautions in place. Please only submit if you are willing to provide care during hurricane season.

Patient Diagnoses: Multi-trauma, seizure, GSW, Falls, TBI, stroke, sepsis, psych, epidural hematomas, epidural hemorrhage, cerebral edema, Ortho related trauma- not elective, encephalopathy Neuro Surgery experience is also required Major Trauma unit
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Craniotomy, Spinal Fusions, ORIF, muscle flaps, skin grafts, AKA, BKA, IM nails, external fixators, spinal stimulators
-Float requirement: Can be pulled to all other inpatient units
Special Equipment: Traction, external fixators, trapeze, PCA pumps, JP drains, wound vacs, Chest tubes, ortho braces, hemo vacs, central lines, trach, PEG, NG tubes

RTO must be on profile and brought up in the interview or there is a high chance offer's will be rescinded.
Orientation held 5 days a week
References: Not required for submission, however 2 Manager/Supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start contract. Recruiter, please obtain Manager/Supervisor contact information prior to submission. Charge RNs are NOT acceptable. PDF format
NURSYS Reports for RNs must be sent with profile. Please ensure that the NURSYS is up to date (within 4 weeks of submission date).
Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from Ochsner Health System for 1 full year before they can return as travel.
