Requirements
Experience
3 months of travel experience is required.
24 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Travelers must have a permanent address outside of the 75 mile straight line radius of intended facility, not driving distance.

Anyone granted a covid vaccine exemption must comply with weekly testing and proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Shift: 1000 - 1830, with flexibility to start 30 min earlier depending on the schedule, Monday - Friday, and call responsibility shared between 4 RN's, 30 minutes call response) Call Monday - Friday 3p-7a, Weekend requirements Yes 24 call Saturday and Sunday rotating if on call.

Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required.

Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.

Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts.

2 years’ experience current required in large PACU.

Certs: BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required and must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmias) testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
