Requirements
Experience
12 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience is required.
6 months of experience with Epic is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 6 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Weekend Required: Every other weekend

Required Certifications: Onsite EKG Exam

RTO Restrictions: 5 days max per contract. No holidays. Must be listed on the profile.

RTO blackout days 12/20-1/2 (Must work both holidays)

Scrub Color: Royal Blue

Labs: must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing contract.

CVIMCU requires Cardio experience recently.

Former perm employees must be separated from any CHS facility for at least 6 months.

Floating: All RNs are expected to float to their capacities in their hospitals, IMCU can float to M/S, ICU can float to IMCU, M/S can float M/S units. Be prepared to float based on census and acuity. Some IMCU may float to ER Hold.

P/F Testing:

-All IMCU and higher specialties are required to take an EKG Strip test and Medication tests on 1st day.

-Should they not pass they will be granted 1 remediation, passing is 80+% (We provide study guides for all of them)
