Requirements
Experience
24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is preferred.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 24 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Wyoming license or compact license

Additional Details:

12 hours - varied. Staffing guidelines follow AWHONN recommendations with low nurse/patient ratios

36 guaranteed hours.

AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (basic, intermediate, advanced)

Skilled in labor, delivery, postpartum and nursery care are essential. Special care nursery skills required. Must know principles and practice of sterile technique and infection control. Must be skilled in technical aspects of mother/infant care. Able to perform effectively in highly stressful situations. Must be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people. Excellent communication skills.
