Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Guaranteed Hours: 32

M-F

CV RNs make their own call schedule as a group.

Common Cases: Open hearts (CABG, Valve, aneuryms) thoracotomies, VATS, Convergent, AAA, carotids, ION robotic cases, ECMO, Impella 5.5, Stryker towers

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must be willing to cross train into general OR if CV volumes are low, 3 years of CVOR experience Open Hearts, CABG, Valves

Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week 1515-0645

Weekend/Call Requirements: every 3-4 weeks Fri 1515-Mon 0645

Holiday/Call Requirements: Rotating holidays- must be willing to work holidays

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Floating Requirements: Must be willing to cross train into other specialties if CV volumes are low.

Staff must be willing to float to the floor as "helping hands" or 1/1 sitter; they do not take patients but help with whatever the floors need at the time; we do this to supplement hours if we have a low case volume. If refused- considered supplimental time off, not getting paid- RDO day)
