Guaranteed Hours: 36
Every other weekend and holiday.
Management of varying patient populations including critically ill neuro, surgery, trauma, medical, and surgical patients.
Primary area of focus will be on our Neuro ICU which cares for ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, and all other neuro related critically ill patients
Ability to manage vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, inotropic, antiarrhythmics, and other titratable drips.
Ability to assist with bedside procedures including RSI, EVD placement, Tracheostomy, line placement, other diagnostic tests.
2 years of experience in large hospital (over 200 beds), level 1 trauma center.
Will be required to float to all units in critical care cluster on both campuses, including 5D (intermediate ICU) with ratios up to 1:4. May float to MS if needed to task or take patient assignment of up to 3.
Day/Night Rotate-8 and 12 hour shifts, occasional 4 hour shifts.
Every other Weekend
Every other Holiday
No call required.
