Experience

12 months of Operating Room experience is preferred.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 3 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Guaranteed Hour: 30

Patient Types Travelers are Expected to Care For:

CVOR: CABG, TAVR, VAT, Open thoracotomy, Valve repairs, Vascular surgeries (AV fistulas), fem pop bypass, AAA repair (open and endoscopic)

General: Neuro (EVD placement, shunts), Ortho (total joints, ORIF), Trauma (GSW, MVA), Emergency General (appys, torsions), GYN, GI, GU

Skills required:

RN: Scrub or/and Circulate

Skills preferred:

Robotics: Gyn, General, urology. Robotics will be 12- hour shifts. Currently using XI machine.

Preferred Robotic experience

No Transplants, Burns, Adult Ophthalmology

Peds not required, does not need to scrub

Scheduling:

Schedule is 10 hour or 12-hour shifts

Shift times:

0645-1715pm (10 hrs.)

0645 am-1915 (12 hrs.)

Evening shift – 1045-2315

1845-0715 (12 hrs.)

Nights are blocked- when possible

No on call for night shift positions

RTO: Able to approve up to 5 days; Additional time off email: Nurse Manager Andrew Waldman

Unable to meet scheduled hours, must be willing to add to the end of the assignment

On Call: Main OR Travelers will do Trauma Call Traveler will be assigned to trauma call team unless strong CVOR or Pediatric skillset
