Experience

12 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.

License

Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.

Weekend Hours: 4 weekend days per schedule (month)

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: adult, geriatric

Must Have Skills/Experience: Med/Surg

Preferred Skillset/Experience: trauma, orthopedic, surgical

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: trauma, SBO, knee replacement, hip replacement, s/p fall, urology surgery

Required Education: RN
