Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

RNs only: Cannot have a license that is on probation, suspended, or has board proceedings that are pending.

Travel pairs are not supported - each clinician must apply and receive an offer separately

Start Dates: 3/25 or 4/8

Required:

2+ years strong recent ICU experience

Circulate/Scrub as applicable

Orientation: 4 days Hospital, 2 shifts on unit

Dress Code: Scrubs - Any Color; no denim, professional appearance.

Shoes: Non-skid, closed toe. Athletic shoes are okay. Must wear heel strap with clogs

Floating: Trauma ICU, Neuro ICU, Progressive Care (Stepdown)/NSD. Travelers could float to 1-2 units in a 12 hr shift.

Weekend: Every Other

Call: None

Holiday: Must be available for 2 out of 3 major winter holidays and 2 out of 3 summer holidays. Winter holidays are Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Summer holidays are Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.

Patient Population: Sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, pulmonary edema, post op thoracic/vascular surgery. Little to no Neuro or Trauma comes to this unit
