Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Urology experience is preferred from any number of months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license

Patient Types: Outpatient Urology Clinic

Common Diagnoses include: Bladder Cancer, hematuria, flank pain, kidney stones, infertility, kidney cysts, kidney/adrenal mass, lower urinary tract symptoms, neurogenic bladder, phimoses, prostate cancer, overactive bladder, testicular mass/pain, prostatitis, UPJ Obstruction, UTI, vasectomy, Prostate biopsy, Fusion biopsy, Cystoscopy, UDS, Axonics, PTNS, Bladder wall thickening, cystocele, dysuria, incontinence, pelvic fullness/pain, urethral stricture, pessary fitting

Education Requirement: Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing

Non-negotiable Skills (Required):

Foley catheter insertion/removal/changing, Suprapubic catheter insertion knowledge or willingness to learn, straight cath urine collection

Ability to act as first assist to physician during in-clinic procedures to include: Vasectomies

Cystoscopies (these can include botox injections where nursing will need to draw up the medication and then will help administer during procedure);

Cystoscopy with stent removal (nursing will need to clasp the stent through the scope with the provider and assist with the removal)

Prostate biopsy assist

Preferred that candidate be comfortable with all the above skills/procedures - Clinic is willing to provide training
