Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
6 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
12 months of Emergency Department experience is required from last 4 years.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

Additional Details:

Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Common diagnoses/Types of patients Abd pain, DM, HTN, STEMIs, NSTEMIs, Stroke, Prioritized traumas, and more.

Must have some trauma experience (MVAs, GSWs, Stabbings, etc.)

Must have Triage experience

Prefer: Trauma Bay experience

Must be able to titrate all critical gtts and procedural sedation for adults and pediatrics. Also important to understand drips that require filter tubing and management of blood products/components via rapid infuser.

May be asked to float throughout the ER to different zones to assist as needed.

Job Duties: 12 Lead EKGs, dept support and assisting providers, and more

Must be able to read and interpret tele

RNs expected to transport if acute

RNs to do blood draw on IV starts

Every other weekend.

Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation

Call or a standby requirement: Could be asked to go on Call, callback pay available, if needed.
