All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.
IF previous perm employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.
Patient diagnoses: Cath Lab and IR procedures- 60% Ambulatory, 40% Inpatient
SPECIAL PROCEDURES:
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Interventional, Pre/Post, Procedural, Circulate, Scrub, Record, Biopsies, GI, GU/Renal, Neuro, Peripheral Vascular, Pulmonary.
Cath Lab, Endovascular Lab, Stent Placement, Ultrasound, CT, Angio is required.
Required skills: Conscious Sedation & IV Start
Transportation: Clinician must have reliable transportation; travel pairs require separate vehicles.
Scheduling: Facility scheduling needs must be met; special requests (e.g., block scheduling, late starts) will not be accommodated.
BLS ACLS Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.
