RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Start Date:Mid-May 2025 (no later than 5/19)
Shift: Variable (traveler will work either straight days or straight nights, but the exact shift will not be known until closer to the start date and based on current staffing needs at that time).
Weekend required
Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
Return Staff Policy: Permanent staff must be separated from Providence for a minimum of 3 months to return as a traveler.
Travelers can only work for a maximum of 1 calendar year in their assignment. Travelers are then required to take a minimum of a 6-month break before returning for another traveler assignment at the same facility.
Facility only accepts Hep B vaccines and will not take titers or declination
BLS ACLS Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY.
NRP- Current certification issued by an acceptable agency - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).
