Additional Details:
Administers ultrasound procedures to pregnant patients
Position requires assisting with invasive procedures (amniocentesis), Doppler studies, biophysical profiles, high-detail Level 2 ultrasounds and anatomy surveys
Requirement:
Candidate must be proficient with ultrasound equipment and have basic knowledge of patient care equipment
Current Clinical Experience - Preferred
Familiarity with McKesson PACS - Preferred
Education: Graduate of or a student in a program accredited by an agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), United States Department of Education (USDOE) or Canadian Medical Association (CMA), that specifically conducts programmatic accreditation for diagnostic medical Ultrasound/Sonography
Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Ultrasound/Sonography is preferred
Certifications:
ARDMS - Registered in OB/GYN (OB) and Fetal Echo (FE)
Certified in Nuchal Translucency (NT) and Cervical Length (CLEAR).
Shift / Scheduling:
Monday - Friday
No weekend
No Call
Varying start times from 7am to 8am and shift ending between 3:30pm and 4:30pm
Float: Yes - potential to rotate to Maternal Mobile Clinic - up to 2 days a week.
Transports to different locations in downtown Milwaukee
Fetal Echo and NT certification preferred, but not necessary
Dress Code: Personal scrubs, color or style of choice
