Patient Diagnoses: Primarily care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients
Weekends: Variable based on unit needs
Schedule: No set/blocked scheduling. Self-schedule requests accepted to accommodate preferred schedules before finalizing.
Skills Required: Telemetry; Interpretation of dysrhythmias; Telemetry monitoring; Use of Rapid Response Teams; Feeding tube care and management; IV therapy/Phlebotomy; Blood Product Administration; Central line blood draw; Peripheral Line Care/Management; PICC line management; Starting IVs
RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.
Locals are accepted at the same rate.
Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location.
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
