Travel Allied (Sonographer) - Cardiac Sonography

Call required which is typically every other weekend. Call may vary depending on the needs of the department.

Peds highly preferred

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cardiac Sonographer, with a minimum of 6 months experience with Pediatric studies.

Will be conducting adult and pediatric cardiac studies in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Pediatrics will be 25% of the volume of studies; Sonographer will be scheduled for 7 studies in an 8 hour shift. There will not be any fetal heart monitoring.

Requirements: RDCS issued by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers - OR - RCS issued by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Scrubs: Any color of professional scrubs. No other facility logos are permitted.

Equipment: Philips Epiq 7

Orientation: Flexible to start any day of the week. Will start in Human Resources and complete paperwork and obtain badge, next onto Occupational Health for Respiratory Fit Test and then to department to complete department specific orientation to equipment and processes prior to being scheduled with their own patients. Will receive two orientation shifts in the department prior to being scheduled for their own studies.
