Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.

Experience with Epic is preferred.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Scheduling: We work with our travelers to provide the best possible schedule while fulfilling our staffing needs, try to accommodate special requests or needs. We allow block scheduling but our policy is they can not schedule more than 5 days in a row.

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 3 in a 6 week schedule.

Holiday Requirement: As needed if there is a need.

Floating Requirements: Float to like units- CPU (Medsurg unit-stroke/neuro, cardiac pts recovering after cath lab) and Surgical Unit.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Sepsis, respiratory failure, chest pain, pneumonia, CKD, CHF, behavioral patients, dementia

Required Certification: ACLS only if working charge

Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: Navy Blue
