Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Rotate every other weekend and holidays

Floating Requirements: Required to float to ICU. If not needed in ICU, would be required to float to Stepdown.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Critically ill patients with prior heart conditions experiencing complex needs and actual or potential life threatening conditions, invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring, etc

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Current CVICU experience, CRRT, Impella and IABP required,

Minimum of one to two years of critical care experience

Scrub Color/Dress Code: RN/LPN - Navy

Scrubs must be solid color, no embroidery and/or patterns on scrubs. WVU Medicine or solid color fleece zip-ups may be worn in grey, black, navy or royal blue. Solid undershirts may be worn in white, grey, or black in matching color to the scrub top. Closed toed shoes only. No crocs.
