Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

24 months of Neurologic Intensive Care Unit experience is required from last 12 months.

ADN completion required

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Shift: Day / Night Variable

Float Requirements: Will float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units. Possible float to other critical care units

Certifications: AACN

Required:

Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong assessment skills in Neuro

Patient Population: Neuro population from our Med/Surg ICU, this would include Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients.

Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus

Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring would be needed.

Dress Code: Scrubs - Any Color

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
