Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Step Down Unit experience is required from last 4 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.

Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years.

Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email.

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

LPNs only: Must have previously worked on at least (1) a travel assignment with Trusted and have a reference from that assignment

Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Shift Notes: Weekend Nights

Ratios:1:3 for Stepdown.1:4-6 for 'Floor'

Common diagnoses/Types of patients Typical MedSurg population. Chest Pain, COPD, AMS, Pneumonia, UTI, Abdominal Pain, Overflow for most services, hospice (will 'flip' patients to GIP Hospice on 7 West)

Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Yes - Drips in Stepdown, floor only gets PCAs, heparin, etc.

They have Tele. RN's must be able to read strips in conjunction with the telemetry monitor techs that continuously monitor strips.

Holiday Requirement: Work into the perm staff holiday schedule.

Floating Requirement: Can be pulled to any floor or stepdown unit.
