Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

12 months of Speech-Language Pathology experience is required from any number of months.

AS completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 32

1 hour of office time is generally blocked each day

Weekend/Holiday Rotation Requirements: Minimal. Currently ST is not part of routine weekend call rotation

Primary Location: Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics. Outpatient and inpatient are in the same geographical location.

Float Requirements: All work will be performed in the same geographic location. Our clinic is on the first floor, our hospital and swing bed are on the second floor.

On Call/Call Back Requirements: Minimal. Currently ST is not part of routine weekend call rotation

Clinician-to-Patient Ratio: 1/2-3; this can fluctuate as high as 5-6 patients or as low as 1-2. This is a new department and we are currently building our caseload.

Case mix fluctuates, but an speech therapist could generally expect to split their time between outpatient and inpatient care.

Will provide care in outpatient, inpatient, and swing bed settings

Dress code is business casual, scrubs are allowed / optional.

GSA is not guaranteed orientation week. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
