Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Transitional Care Unit

Guaranteed 36 hours per week

ICU Exp Required but CVICU preferred.

RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated

ICU/PCU background preferred

Universal Care: Varying levels of care ICU, PCU, Med Surg cardiac and vascular patient

Cardiac and vascular patient population. Post op recovery of these patients and post procedure patients from cath lab.

We are also stroke designated as well and take some CVA patients.l. CHF and any other cardiac and vascular related diagnosis. Impella, ballon pump, ventilators, BIPAP, CPAP amio, nitro, nicardapine, epi, cardizem. Multiple other cardiac medications for blood pressure management

EKG exam required

Adults- varies depending on acuity: 1:2 for ICU, 1:4 for PCU 1:5 for med surg
