Patient Population: Medical and telemetry patients (18 and older) with acute and chronic illnesses (e.g., sepsis, respiratory, gastrointestinal, endocrine, cardiac disease, COVID-19)

Team-Based Care Overview: TBC is where a group of licensed and unlicensed professionals work together to care for a patient group, leveraging each member's strengths. The model includes Lead Nurses, bedside RNs, Virtual Nurses, LPNs, and Nursing Assistants. Virtual Nurses handle administrative tasks like admissions, discharges, patient education, and dual sign-offs, allowing bedside nurses to focus on direct care. Promotes teamwork, communication, and leadership, enabling all team members to work at the top of their scope.

This initiative is an excellent opportunity for clinicians to make a meaningful impact while working in a dynamic and supportive care model.
