Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
In the interest of expediting your submission, please list the specialties/unit in which you've worked in and all applicable instrumental/tray processing fields you have experience with (Example: General, OB/GYN, ENT, Plastics, Urology, Ortho, etc.) on your work history
Shift: Mon-Friday with rotating weekends.
Daily Caseload per tech: 65 Surgical Cases; 1200 Tray Volume
Weekend REQ: Yes
Open to accommodating block schedule? No; case-by-case possibly considered during contract but depends on core staff.
Guaranteed Hours: 40h contract
Certs Required: CBSPD or IAHCSMM
Inpatient, outpatient, and trauma setting experience required.
Sterilization, decontamination, assembly/wrap, case cart, HLD, and scrub experience required.
Candidate should have experience in surgery cases such as Ortho, Urology, Endo/Laparoscopic, Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Gyn, Bariatrics, Plastics, Podiarty, ENT, Transplant, Robotics, and Implants. Opthalmology preferred.
