Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Shift Notes: 2 weekend shifts per pay period, holiday rotation

General job duties. Types of procedures required: Acute Care RN for patients undergoing Cardiovascular services, surgical services

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.: Philips Cardiac Monitors, Tele, Welch Allyn Vital Signs Monitors, Invasive monitoring. Medtronic Pacemakers, Pyxis Med dispenser, Zoll R series, Sigma Spectrum IV pumps, Mistral Air Warming units.

Required experience: EKG knowledge skills - IV Cardiac Medication administration. Peritoneal Dialysis, Chronic Vents, Chest Tubes, Epidural Catheters, PCA pumps, Transvenous pacing, Arterial or Venous Sheath pulling/care.

Floats to the ICU and/or CVICU preferred so basic critical care skills - Arterial lines, sheath pulls

Scrubs, no black/camo

Fast paced cardiac and cardiac surgery care; patients from cath lab w or w/o intervention, or 2-3 days PO open heart surgery. STEMI and NSTEMI, Also chronic vents, Alcohol withdrawal, suicidal ideation, New BiPAP or CPAP patients, Thorocotomies, Renal disease.
