This facility does not allow any travelers with permanent residency in Maine. Housing in ME becomes more expensive in the summer months, beginning in May. Be sure to confirm you are comfortable with housing options before applying.

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
S/P orthopedic surgeries, Wound care, Chronic/Acute CHF and COPD, s/p cardiac surgeries, genitourinary, IV antibiotic teaching/central line care, med pre-fills, lab draws
Patient Ratios:
Case Manager averages 25 to 30 patients
Driver’s License? Yes, driver’s license and must use own vehicle to drive from patient home to patient home.
Skills required: Nursing skill set to care for the common diagnosis listed above
Floating: If Bangor Territory Census is low may ask traveler to support other agency locations, if census allows.
Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: Typically once a month, could be more dependent upon staffing
Call requirement: Overnight - 5 PM to 8 AM. Rotation is typically twice a month but could be more dependent upon staffing
Holiday Expectations: Will be required if assignment aligns with major holiday (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
RTO: Manager approval
Shift times: 5 (8) hour days, Monday thru Friday, weekend and on call rotation, business hours 8 AM to 5 PM
Scrub Color: Business casual or scrubs. No certain color requirement
Roles requiring state licensure only: License should not expire within 45 days following start date
