Trauma Level 1
specific patient types/diagnoses - Oncology PCU and Trauma PCU if they want specific oncology experience for this floor - chemotherapy certified would be nice but not required
Do travelers need specific oncology experience or is PCU experience okay? no PCU is fine
Are RNs required to titrate drips: insulin occasionally cardizem
Where will PCU- Oncology travelers float to med/surg and PCU units
How much orientation will they receive 2 days
Shift times: 7p-11p, 11p-7a, 7p-7a
Weekend requirements: Every third weekend
Self schedule
Scrubs: Navy Blue
Common Patient Diagnosis: Oncology
Common Drips/Medications: chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, protonix
Required certs: If you hang chemo you need to be chemo certified but not required to work the floor Other needed competencies: Ventilator, other hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000), ICP- all can train real time
